One feature of untule parasols is that they are repaired by veteran craftsmen specializing in umbrellas at a domestic workshop. In order for you to use it for a long time, experienced professional craftsmen will repair it with great care and responsibility, so the finish is meticulous.
6 months free warranty period
Regarding the umbrella bone, we will repair it free of charge if it breaks down during normal use for 6 months after purchase.
For long-term use
Untule can be repaired even after 6 months from the date of purchase. The 100% shading rate will not decrease unless the fabric is torn. If the bone is repaired, it can be used again.

About repair and warranty
Regarding the parasol of untule, we will repair it with the following contents.
Notes
- Repair costs are free within 6 months after purchase. 7 months or more are available for a fee.
- In the case of paid repair, the customer will be responsible for the transfer fee and round-trip shipping fee in addition to the repair fee.
- We cannot send the repaired parasol together with the ordered product.
- Be sure to remove any dirt from the item to be repaired, and dry the rainwater before sending it to us.
- It may take some time depending on the details of the repair and the time of deposit.
Repair Frame and Replace Parts
- Repair Fee: RM 100 Repair Fee + RM 15 Shipping (Customer also need to bear the shipping cost when deliver the product back)
- Materials such as frame and metal fittings may be replaced with substitutes because the production of the materials has ceased, so the results may be different from those before the repair.
- The fabric of the umbrella after the repair may feel different when stretched than it was before the repair if the frame and other parts need to be largely replaced.
If the handle is damaged, it will need to be replaced with a new one.
- Repair Fee: RM 70 Repair Fee + RM 15 Shipping (Customer also need to bear the shipping cost when deliver the product back)
- If the handle of the same design is off production, another design will be used instead.
- Free repair will be provided if the handle is loose.
- A loose handle may not be repairable for reasons such as that the handle is already broken.
Any stripped or broken thread at the seam can be repaired by sewing.
- Repair Fee: RM 70 Repair Fee + RM 15 Shipping (Customer also need to bear the shipping cost when deliver the product back)
- Stripped or broken threads at the wrinkled part cannot be repaired.
- Stripped or broken line needs to judge whether it can be repaired according to the situation.
- New bones and parts and replacement repair fee (tax included): ¥ 2,200
- Due to the discontinuation of bones, metal fittings, and other parts, there may be cases where the bones and parts are different from the current ones, and repairs may not be possible. Please note.
- If the bones and parts are significantly replaced, the tension and appearance of the fabric may differ from before the repair.Please note.
- If the hand is damaged, we will replace it with a new hand of the same specification.
Repair fee (tax included): ¥1,100 - If the hand with the same specification is out of print, it will be replaced with another hand with a different design and specifications.Please note.
- If the hand is removed, we will repair it to attach the hand again.
Repair fee: Free - If the removed hand is damaged or cannot be attached for some other reason, repair will not be possible. Please note.
- If the seam is frayed or the thread is cut, we will repair the sewing.

Use a neutral detergent on a sponge to gently wipe the dirt on the fabric, and then rinse with water to remove the water from the surface of the fabric, because if the water is not completely wiped off, it may cause rust on the metal part. After drying the fabric, please place the umbrella in the shade to dry.
To prevent product deterioration, please place the umbrella in a well-ventilated place. Please note that places with a lot of humidity will cause the fabric of the umbrella to deteriorate, mold and metal parts will rust.
Untule’s water-repellent design uses a more durable finish than general water-repellent designs. Even so, the water-repellent function of the product will vary depending on the use environment and aging.
When the water repellency of the product becomes poor, please use a generally marketed water repellent spray to deal with it. Before using the water repellent spray, please confirm the precautions of the water repellent spray (Customer will be responsible for the consequences of use).
We will only accept returns of repaired items within Japan.
